What We Do

At Sudan Pathways, we are committed to fundraising, raising awareness, and empowering communities through actionable solutions.

Fundraising Initiative

In 2025, we are putting awareness and support at the forefront of our mission. To achieve this, we will host a series of monthly fundraising initiatives dedicated to supporting different African countries. Did you know that when you donate to many well-known humanitarian organizations, your contributions—even if intended for a specific cause—are often pooled into a general fund and distributed across various initiatives? We do things differently. Every dollar you donate will go directly to specific humanitarian groups working on the ground in the country we are supporting. Additionally, we cover all transactional fees associated with your donation, ensuring that 100% of your contribution reaches the people and causes you care about.

Social Media Awareness

Social media serves as a powerful tool to amplify the voices of Sudanese communities. Through storytelling and real-time updates on Instagram, we aim to raise awareness and inspire global action. Next week, we will also be launching our Facebook page, which will focus on promoting our mobile app designed to guide refugees through asylum-seeking procedures. Posts on the Facebook page will be available in both Arabic and English, with Swahili and Amharic to be added as we expand our services.

Mobile App & Website

Our mobile app is a comprehensive resource for refugees, asylum-seekers, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). It provides essential information for Sudanese communities in five key African countries—Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. The app covers critical topics such as eligibility requirements, application procedures, legal protections, living conditions, safety, travel rules, and local NGOs offering assistance. While this website, sudanpathways.org, serves to explain our mission, educate the public, and provide tools for those looking to make an impact, our mobile app and sudanpathways.app website are designed specifically to support those in need of guidance and assistance.

*Our mobile app & Sudan Pathways website are currently under construction and will be returning on February 8, 2025.

2025 Humanitarian Awareness Campaign

As we move into 2025, raising awareness and mobilizing support for urgent humanitarian issues remain our top priorities. Throughout February, we will be focusing on three critical crises:

Sudan Conflict

A brutal power struggle in Sudan has led to mass displacement, ethnic cleansing, widespread violence, and a severe humanitarian crisis, with minimal international intervention.

Eastern DRC Violence

Escalating violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo has led to mass displacement, human rights abuses, and regional instability, with little global attention.

Horn of Africa Climate Crisis

The Horn of Africa is experiencing its worst drought in 40 years, causing water shortages, crop failures, and massive livestock losses across the region.

Each week, we'll focus on one of these crises through social media posts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and in-depth blog articles on Tuesday and Thursday. Our goal is to both raise awareness and provide educational insights to those who may be unaware of these pressing humanitarian injustices.

Stay tuned for more details about each crisis, and find out which organizations we'll be supporting with donations to bolster their vital work. Your engagement and contributions can make a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need.
